I really, really got carried away with these. Then I goofed as I was attaching the clasp and had to start all over. That's hand-knotting 40-inches of pearls, times two. Gah.
These were inspired by a totally random woman wearing a massive length of black freshwater pearls in the dentist's office. I thought, "I can do better!" I don't think I paid attention to what the dentist was doing while I plotted these in my head. But that's probably a good thing.
I'm very bad at showing perspective, but I'm learning. These pearls range from about 8-11 mm apiece because of their odd, baroque shapes. For those that care, the strand is longer than opera length, about to your belly button.
There'll be more pictures of them as I figure out how to photograph jewelry -- an art in itelf.
