Oh, honestly, I have no idea what to name these things. That, plus jewelry photography, will never count among my many talents. These are about 36-inches long, or three feet-ish. Black freshwater pearls hand-knotted on silk by yours truly, comes with a gift box and free shipping for $65.
Here's the listing at my online shop.
... and I'll put earrings on them. Just a reminder that my earrings start at $15.

Actually, there's really nothing cheap about these except that I got a good deal on them. They've got a beautiful luster that of course doesn't show up on this photo. Gah. They're freshwater and each strand is about 16-inches in length. The pendants detach so you can change the look around. Oh, and they're $16 apiece (not $15, as originally promised), but it now includes both shipping and a gift box. Still a deal!

These are. Plus pearls!
Here's the description from my shop:
Yes, I was in a frenzy in the two weeks leading up to this sale. I made all of these. It was about the most fun I've had with power tools since Mr. Kaplan's wood shop class at West Rocks Middle School. I kicked tuchus in that class.
I had a brief moment of panic that led to a whole new level of commitment to jewelry making. I'd planned on finishing these babies up at two jewelry classes the other week instead of one. And ... the instructor was sick.
Panic! What would I do without the classroom's power tools?
Help me, Home Depot!
You have to imagine the hubby's reaction when I lugged home a brand, spanking-new Dremel tool. Y'know Homer Simpson and donuts? That's the reaction. You'd think I brought home a vibrator. It does kinda look like one. Except for the sanding and buffing attachments. *shudder*
Wonder if I could do my nails with them, though? Just a thought.
So, yeah, I'm committed now. Gotta make that Dremel tool earn its keep.
Oh, and if you see any earrings you like, they're all up at Etsy. Prices start at $15 for the copper, up to $22 for the silver. As always, shipping is free.
This strand of seed pearls and clear seed beads (available here) can go either separately or together with this necklace:
This triple strand, called Triple Threat, is also made with seed pearls, mixed with silver seed beads. The idea was to create an affordable layered look. I can create the same thing in either peach or black pearls, so email me at anne (at) inlandempress (dot) com or via Facebook if you want a different color.
I modeled them together in my profile picture on Facebook:
Here's my Etsy page with the shopping cart.
As usual, all items come in a gift box and the shipping is free.
Yes, I'm a little blue. I'm convinced nothing I've made will sell in this economy. Not even these, which are made from blue quartz and freshwater pearls. As usual, they're hand-knotted on silk and all the findings (bead, clasp, etc) are sterling silver.
Don't know why I'm so glum today. Leave a comment to cheer me up, even if you're not buying.
