I know, I know! Photographing peach pearls on a tan tile. Not so smart. Sorry! These are Akoya (saltwater) pearls about 10-11mm apiece. Like my other strands, it's got a toggle clasp and a detachable pendant. So you can wear it front or back or whatever.
I'll get around to photographing these in a better light, or a lighter background, or something.

This is a 16-inch strand of 10-11mm cultured white pearls. They're Akoya (saltwater) and have a diffuse, soft luster to them. I got the idea watching some debate-or-other on healthcare and saw Sen. Dianne Feinstein and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi in big, chunky pearls. Then I saw a Republican Senator wearing them ... may have been Olympia Snowe, can't recall. Three's a trend, right?
